Play it forward nearly 20 years and with a wealth of experience plus a management and political science degree behind her, Jacquie is still besotted with her career choice. Describing her work as akin to match making, she loves matching the right talent with the right employer. Success, she says happens best when everyone’s needs are considered, and to do this working in partnership is key.

Outside of work, Jacquie’s children and her love of animals and nature keep her busy. Oftentimes you’ll find her and her girls mucking out horse stalls and feeding out hay – not so glamorous but completely worth it when the reward is riding through the Wellington hills.

Described by her colleagues as creative, a natural relationship builder, insightful and willing to go the extra mile, Jacquie is at her best when there is a sense of purpose, pace and fun. She reckons she’s found that at Worklife. After 12 years of running her own recruitment company with Emma, becoming an owner in Worklife has been one of her career highlights. Being locally owned, able to tailor solutions to the needs of clients, and working with colleagues who share the same value set creates the right mix that continues to get her up in the morning and excited about coming to work.
