What you get with us

You get good free advice about setting up a website as well as great web design. We have been designing websites for over 11 years, so you can trust us to give you good advices. And all at a very low price.

We offer two flavours:

• static websites - cheap and good for brochure sites
• Content Management Sites (CMS) - update it yourself.

Static Website Costs

A Cheap as Chips website can be as big as you want. Our minimum size is a 3 page website, one of which is a page with a contact form. This costs $350 + gst.

If you want more pages, each one after that costs $100 + gst.

So, for example:

A 3 page website (eg Home, Services, Contact Us) costs $350 + gst
A 4 page website (eg Home, About Us, Products, Contact Us) costs $450 + gst

CMS Website Costs

Our minimum CMS size is a 3 page website, one of which is a page with a contact form. This costs $750 + gst.

If you want us to set up more pages, each one after that costs $100 + gst.

So, for example:

A 3 page website (eg Home, Services, Contact Us) costs $750 + gst
A 4 page website (eg Home, About Us, Products, Contact Us) costs $850 + gst.

This also includes full instructions on how to change your website, and an hour's support for any questions you might have afterwards.

Design There are 4 areas of the webpage layout. The "Branding" consists of your logo and some visual graphics about what you do or what you sell. We'll either use the photos you send us or we will use some stock photos. The "Menu" is a clickable list of the pages on your website, and the "Contact" details ensure your address and email address are visible at all times.

The "Branding", "Menu" and "Contact Details" remains the same on all pages. The "Content" changes on each page.

You can tell us what kind of colours you want to have and what images you want in the Branding section. If you don't know, then just say so and we will sort it all out for you. We have been designing websites for 9 years, so we know what works and what doesn't work so you don't have to stress about it.

You are the one that writes the "Content" and we sort out the layout of the content so that it is spaced out well and easy for people to scan read (because that is what website viewers do, so this is very important).

What goes in the Content section

You can have text, photos and links to other websites or other documents. So, for instance, if you have a pricelist for items you sell, you can store the document with the website and give customers instant access to it.

How many photos can I have?

You can have 2 photos per page, spread over the whole website. So that means if you are having a 4 page website you can have 8 photos, placed on whatever pages you want. You can have 2 on each page or 8 all on one page. These can be in addition to any photos we use in the top design.

Extras you can choose to include

Pop Up Photos This is when we make the smaller photos on your webpage clickable and, when clicked, a Pop Up window opens and an enlarged photo appears. They can be really useful if you want your customers to be able to get a really good look at your products. Click the photo on the right to see an example.

Pop Ups are in addition to the prices above and cost $10 +gst per enlargement. You can select as many photos as you want to be Pop Ups, so you keep a tight reign on your budget.

Shopping Cart
If you sell a small number of products we can also incorporate a Shopping Cart. This enables buyers to purchase several products, total up their purchases and securely give you their credit card details. See Moontime on our samples page for an example.

Videos
We can also include video clips - you provide the clips and we will grab an appropriate freeze-frame to show it off at its best for $50. We don't edit clips, so you need to provide it in a suitable format.

Ideally it should be in both Windows and Mac compatible formats (Windows Media and Quicktime) and have a range of hi and lo resolution versions of each. The more the better - we'd recommend versions between 1Mb and 12Mb so that people on broadband and dial-up can view them. Email us if you want to know more.
